William Irwin Thompson

William Irwin Thompson on [[Brooklyn Bridge]], 1996 William Irwin Thompson (July 16, 1938 – November 8, 2020) was an American social philosopher, cultural critic, and poet. He received the Oslo International Poetry Festival Award in 1986. He described his writing and speaking style as "mind-jazz on ancient texts".
