Sumario: | Atlantis is a general-purpose event display programme developed to provide an interactive visual investigation of the highly complex high-energy physics events that will be recorded by the ATLAS detector at CERN's LHC. It will be used as a tool to visually investigate data from the ATLAS Inner Detector, to study the performance of pattern recognition and track reconstruction algorithms, and to examine track-to-hit associations. It also provides visual representations of the secondary vertices produced by the decay of short-lived particles. |
