description The pp to bbZ, Z to ll process was found to be useful for evaluation of the dedicated b-jet energy corrections. The pT balance between Z boson and pair of b jets is exploited and the energy correction curve as a function of the raw reconstructed jet energy in the calorimeter was obtained from the bbll events in the jet transverse energy interval of 20-150 GeV and eta < 2.5 for 10 fb-1. The b-jet energy corrections restore the energy of the original b quark. They were tested for the Higgs boson mass reconstruction in H to bb decays.
