Sumario:The world's largest proton collider, LHC (Large Hadron Collider), is currently build in the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) located on the French-Swiss border. The LHC is scheduled to begin operation in May 2008 and will be one of the most complex scientific instruments ever built. Configuring all the modules of the experiment is a complex task because of the huge network of devices and the big number on technologies involved. That's why configuration databases are used to store and organise the informations needed to well configure the system. My contribution was to improve an editor of the configuration database of the LHCb wich is one the four experiments taking place at CERN. This editor is called CDBVis and my work consist on porting the software written in Python to use the Qt library instead of the wxWidget one. I also made many enhancements to this software.
