Prospects for physics beyond the Standard Model with ATLAS

An overview of prospects for physics beyond the Standard Model searches with the ATLAS detector is presented. A strategy for physics searches throughout the lifetime of the ATLAS experiment is shown. A focus on Super Symmetry is given in the first half of the talk. Other extensions to the Standard Model, such as dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking models, little higgs, GUTs, extra dimension, etc. demand the existence of new heavy particles. Searches for heavy gauge bosons, extra dimensions and micro black holes are also presented.
