<!--HTML-->Fixed target physics at CERN remains an essential part of the laboratory's scientific programme and horizon. In recent years fixed target and decay physics using CERN's unique accelerator and beam facilities continues enabling unique experiments to be undertaken. An overview is presented of the status of this physics and, wherever appropriate, of its future.
