Proposal for the award of two contracts for the supply of disk servers for physics data processing

This document concerns the award of two contracts for the supply of disk servers for physics data processing. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the negotiation of contracts for the supply of disk servers for physics data processing with: 1. ELONEX (CH), the lowest bidder complying with the specification, for a total usable disk space of not less than 513 Terabytes, for an amount of 966 382 Swiss francs, not subject to revision; 2. TRANSTEC (CH), the second lowest bidder complying with the specification, for a total usable disk space of not less than 491 Terabytes, for an amount of 954 520 Swiss francs, not subject to revision. 2006/96/5/e
