ATLAS and CMS Detector Upgrades for sLHC

Atlas and CMS have detector upgrades planned to benefit from the increased luminosity of the super-LHC project. This talk discusses the physics possibilities with large data sets at the two experiments. It will present the current understanding of the schedule, and then discuss the detector changes needed in order to cope with the very high pile-up rates and radiation doses expected.
