Event selection of $\rm B_c^\pm \rightarrow J/\psi(\mu^+\mu^-) \pi^\pm$ and estimate of the event yield

In this note, a Monte Carlo study of the $\rm B_c^\pm \rightarrow J/\psi(\mu^+\mu^-) \pi^\pm$ selection at the LHCb experiment is presented.
