The physics topics presented include: luminosity determination using the LUCID and ALFA detectors; diffractive measurements that should be possible with early data; and, the AFP project which plans to deploy proton taggers at 220 and 420 m from the ATLAS IP. The AFP program includes such physics topics as hard diffraction; diffractive Higgs production,two photon physics; and, new physics in the forward region.
