Studies for the Search of Heavy Particles Decaying in Top Quark Pairs with the CMS Detector
In this thesis, event selection and analysis techniques are developed at the CMS detector for narrow heavy resonances in the mass range of 1 to 3 TeV which decay to top quark pairs in the muon+jets channel.
