Sumario:% We present methods to measure the energy resolutions and reconstruction efficiency of jets reconstructed with a cone clustering algorithm using calorimeter energy deposits in simulated data at CMS. The jet energy resolutions are extracted from the transverse momentum balance of back-to-back dijet events in the limit of no additional radiated energy. The jet reconstruction efficiency is determined using a tag-and-probe method in $Z(\rightarrow\mu\mu)$+jets events. % Comparisons of the data resolutions and efficiencies with the expectations from the Monte Carlo simulations, and the main sources of systematic uncertainties are also discussed. The event sample of the simulated data correspond to a 10 pb$^{-1}$ integrated luminosity.
