Sumario:The first long physics run of LHC is expected to take place at a centre-of-mass energy of 10\,TeV, and to go on until an integrated luminosity of $200\,\mbox{pb}^{-1}$ has been collected. At these energies, many physics models beyond the Standard Model predict heavy new particles preferentially decaying to top pairs. Such new particles are searched for with the CMS detector in final states with jets and a muon as resonances in the top pair mass spectrum. New methods are presented for the selection and analysis of these events with two highly-boosted top quarks.
