B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- gamma decay in LHCb
Being FCNC processes, the B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- and B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- gamma decays are suppressed in the Standard Model, but can be highly enhanced in case of New Physics which can come as new particles flowing in the loops. Both these decays occur with a branching ratio in the SM at the level...

Sumario: | Being FCNC processes, the B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- and B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- gamma decays are suppressed in the Standard Model, but can be highly enhanced in case of New Physics which can come as new particles flowing in the loops. Both these decays occur with a branching ratio in the SM at the level of 10?9: the Bs -> mu^+ mu^- gamma in fact is suppressed by having one more vertex but enhanced by removing the elicity suppression. Prospects for the search of the B^0_s -> mu^+ mu^- gamma decay in LHCb are presented in this poster. |
