Detecting new hadrons or excited ones

We discuss prospects of those measurements at LHC experiment ATLAS and review some basic selection methods. ATLAS 2009 early data are used to illustrate ATLAS performance of $K_s opi^+pi^-$, $Lambda o ppi^-$, and $arLambda o ar ppi^+$ decays reconstruction, which will be final state particles in some of the heavy hadron decays. In addition some of the promising new heavy baryon decays are reviewed.
