Sumario:At high energy, cosmic rays can only be studied by measuring the extensive air showers which they produce in the atmosphere of the Earth. The development of extensive air showers strongly relies on the physics of forward region of hadronic interactions. Measurement of forward particle production at HERA and LHC colliders constrain the physics used in hadronic interaction models and allow for more reliable determinations of the cosmic ray energy and composition.
