Sumario: | During the successful operation of the LHC at the end of 2009, the CMS detector recorded significant amounts of Minimum
Bias data at $\sqrt{s}=$ 900~GeV and 2360~GeV centre-of-mass energies. In this note, for these data samples, we demonstrate the performance of three Missing-Transverse-Energy reconstruction algorithms, including a
minimal set of corrections to remove rare
instrumental effects. We also present the performance of Missing Transverse Energy reconstructed from jets using three distinct types of jet algorithms. Overall, we find a good agreement between the data and the simulation predictions. |
