Sumario: | We study the energy-dependence of the charged particle mean multiplicity and the pseudorapidity density at midrapidity measured in nucleus-nucleus and (anti)proton-proton collisions in whole available energy range. The study is performed in the framework of the model, which considers the multiparticle production process according to the dissipating energy of participants and their types, namely the constituent quark picture is applied combined with the Landau relativistic hydrodynamics. The model allows to interrelate the measured variables under study in nucleus-nucleus and nucleon-nucleon collisions. The measurements in nuclear reactions are shown to be reproduced by the measurements in (anti)proton-proton interactions and the common fits are obtained. Different observations in other types of collisions are discussed in the framework of the model proposed. The predictions to the measurements at the forthcoming LHC energies are made. |
