The ATLAS sensitivity studies done with Monte Carlo for the measurements of the top quark mass, the top quark charge, rare top quark decays and flavour changing neutral currents, the $t\bar t$ spin correlations and $W$ boson polarization, the anomalous couplings at the $Wtb$ vertex and $t\bar t$ resonances are reviewed.
