Sumario: | We report on the observation of energetic jets of particles in the final state in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s)=7 TeV, using the ATLAS detector and based on 1 nb-1 of total LHC delivered luminosity. Jets are reconstructed using the anti-kT algorithm with transverse momentum pt >30 GeV and rapidity in the region $|y| < 2.8$.
