A gauge-mediated supersymmetric little Higgs model

We present a supersymmetric little Higgs model with gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking, motivated by the desire to naturally solve both the fine-tuning and the flavour problems of supersymmetry. A realistic model with global SU(3) symmetry is proposed, in which the processes of global symmetry an...

description We present a supersymmetric little Higgs model with gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking, motivated by the desire to naturally solve both the fine-tuning and the flavour problems of supersymmetry. A realistic model with global SU(3) symmetry is proposed, in which the processes of global symmetry and electroweak symmetry breaking are both studied in detail. Numerical analysis shows that the electroweak symmetry can indeed be broken with small fine-tuning, due to the pseudo-Goldstone nature of the Higgs doublet. Moreover, the Higgs boson mass can be brought in agreement with the LEP constraint despite the general prediction of low tan {\beta}.
