Sumario:The inclusive production of the $J/\psi$ meson in its dimuon decay mode is studied in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The double-differential cross section is measured with respect to the transverse momentum and rapidity of $J/\psi$. The ratio of $J/\psi$ mesons produced from B hadron decays to the $J/\psi$ produced from prompt QCD sources is also measured as a function of $J/\psi$ transverse momentum.
