Sumario:The ATLAS detector at LHC has an innermost charged particle precision tracking system for measurement of the trajectories of the charged particles emerging out of proton-proton collisions. To achieve its physics goals the alignment of the tracking detector elements should be known to a precision of a few microns. However, due to the large number of tracking devices, this poses a real challenge. This slide gives a brief overview of the inner detector alignment procedures employed at ATLAS and presents the alignment performance using the data collected from proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV.
