Sumario: | ATLAS has collected a large single muon sample during LHC first runs at 7TeV Predominantly produced in weak decays of light hadrons and heavy flavors, they constitute a good sample to study the performance of muon identification and reconstruction algorithms. This talk focuses on a few physics results and performance studies at 7TeV, including the determination of momentum scale and resolution, a measurement of reconstruction efficiency and a study on background misidentification for different algorithms. |
