Sumario: | A study of the performance of the ATLAS tau and missing energy triggers with data collected at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV proton-proton collisions is presented. Tau trigger results compare well with predictions from Monte Carlo simulations. Slight deviations are observed for tau shower shape quantities, suggesting that underlying event or parton shower models in the Monte Carlo simulation need tuning. Good correlations between Event Filter and offline reconstruction of the missing transverse energy are demonstrated. As well as a good agreement between collision data results for the missing energy trigger and predictions from Monte Carlo simulations. |
