High pT: EWK and QCD results from ATLAS

Sumario: | ATLAS detector has collected 3nb-1 at 7TeV of data. The latest analysis results performed on high transverse momentum physics will be presented. For electroweak measurements cross-sections for Z and W in leptonic channels are presented. In addition, the lepton charge asymmetry due to different W+/W- production is shown. In QCD, single and dijet cross-sections are measured. In the dijets studies, invariant mass will be presented with a maximum observed value of 2TeV. Other important QCD channel is top quark physics. In this early stage of ATLAS, many efforts are paid to re-discover top quark. Latest candidates events will be presented. The last point to be shown in this talk are distribution of direct photon production candidates. |
