Sumario: | LHCb is an experiment designed to search for evidence of new physics effects through precise measurements of decays of B and D mesons. The data LHCb collected in the first few months of LHC running are used for first physics measurements as well as an assessment of the performance of the detector. In this article, the performance of the subdetectors used for particle identification in the first data is presented. In a second part the measurements of baryon production asymmetries in the LHCb acceptance is shown. |
