The ATLAS Fast Track Simulation Project (FATRAS)

The Fast ATLAS Track Simulation (FATRAS) has been extended to ATLAS Muon Spectrometer and interfaced with ATLAS Fast Calorimeter Simulation. The talk present an overview of simulation principles and a selection of recent validation studies.
