Sumario:We present the algorithms constituting the ATLAS jet and Missing Transverse Energy (MET) triggers and summarize the performance studies that have been made for these triggers with the 900 GeV and 7 TeV early LHC collision data. The strong online to offline correlation observed for the jet and MET quantities, as well as the good data to Monte Carlo agreements observed in the various figures of merit investigated (efficiency, rate, etc), demonstrate that these triggers perform at the level of our expectations, after only a few days of running.
