Tracking and b-performance in ATLAS

Tagging of jets produced by b-quarks is important for many physics analysis from the early top quark rediscovery to the Higgs boson and many beyond Standard Model searches. The ability to tag these jets relies on the performance and the commissioning of the ATLAS Inner tracking system. Results concerning alignment, material, some of the tracks properties and the primary vertex resolution are presented. Four b-tagging algorithms were commissioned with the first LHC data. Results concerning these algorithms are also presented.
