Sumario:Physics program at the CERN LHC collider started in autumn 2009. Since then, LHC daily delivers collisions between its two proton beams. This talk was devoted to the commissioning and early operation of the ATLAS Pixel Detector. The Pixel Detector is working nicely and all the required performances like efficiency, resolution and low noise were met. The fraction of working modules is as high as 97.4 %. The Pixel Detector fully participates in the reconstruction of charged particles trajectories, and is a key element in finding primary and secondary verticies and in tagging of short-lived particles.
