Sumario:CMS is a multi-purpose particle detector at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and one of the first experiments thoroughly studying physics at the TeV scale. Promising searches for the Higgs boson and physics beyond the standard model require a precise understanding of the detector and its subcomponents. In this thesis the single hadron response of the CMS calorimeters is measured using the first data, taken at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The results are compared to a Monte Carlo generated sample in order to check whether the detector is working as expected.
