Sumario: | Higgs boson searches are one of the main goals of the LHC physics program. Expected Higgs boson exclusion limits that can be reached with an integrated luminosity 1fb^{-1} at a center of mass energy 7 TeV will be shown. The integrated luminosity 1fb^{-1} should be delivered to the ATLAS experiment by the end of 2011 according to the current LHC plans. The sensitivity for both, the Standard Model Higgs boson and the MSSM Higgs bosons, will be discussed. Results of the ongoing effort to measure the Standard Model background to the H->WW channel will be also shown. |
