General Theory of C*-Algebras

The general properties of C*-algebras are presented in Volume 3. The first two volumes contain results of "Banach-type" needed in Vol. 3. The Hilbert spaces and the representations of C*-algebras are presented in Volume 4. This volume also contains an ample study of Hilbert spaces.
