| Sumario: | We present a selection of quarkonium production results obtained by the CMS experiment,
on the basis of data collected in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV.
The measurements include the production cross sections of prompt and non-prompt
J/$\psi$ mesons, as well as the fraction of J/$\psi$ production due to b hadron decays, as a function
of transverse momentum and in several rapidity ranges. The production cross sections of
the $\Upsilon$ states are also presented, as well as their ratios, up to values of
transverse momentum not previously explored. |
