Search for a new charged gauge boson decaying to charged lepton and neutrino with the ATLAS detector at the LHC
In this thesis, the prospects for the discovery of a new charged gauge boson with the ATLAS detector at the LHC are evaluated. Analyses of real ATLAS data, both cosmics and LHC collisions, are also presented.
