An I = 1 enhancement at a mass of 1550 MeV in the (LAMBDApi) and (SIGMApi)-systems

Evidence is presented for an I=1 enhancement observed in the reactions K/sup -/p to Lambda ( Sigma )K/sub 1//sup 0/K/sup +or-/ pi /sup +or-/ at 4.2 GeV/c incident momentum.
