A precise determination of the excitation energy of the lowest T = 3/2 state in $^{35}$Ar
The excitation energy of the lowest T=3/2 state in /sup 35/Ar has been determined to be 5572.71+or-0.17 keV from the measured energies of beta -delayed gamma -rays following the decay of /sup 35/K (t/sub 1/2 /=190+or-30 ms). The coefficient of a possible cubic term in the isobaric multiplet mass equ...

Sumario: | The excitation energy of the lowest T=3/2 state in /sup 35/Ar has been determined to be 5572.71+or-0.17 keV from the measured energies of beta -delayed gamma -rays following the decay of /sup 35/K (t/sub 1/2 /=190+or-30 ms). The coefficient of a possible cubic term in the isobaric multiplet mass equation for the A=35 quartet is -4.3+or-3.6 keV. (10 refs). |
