Emphasis is given to the differing approaches for the setting of the calorimeter energy scale. The current approach used for analysis is highlighted and results from early collision data are presented. The current jet energy scale for inclusive jets with a transverse momentum of 100 GeV, is determined with an uncertainty of 6-7%.
