QCD predictions for beauty production in pip and $\overline{p}$p collisions
The total cross sections for beauty production in pi p, pp and pp collisions are calculated within perturbative QCD. It turns out that the cross sections are around several nanobarns at presently available energies. For the future pp colliders, the total cross section reaches several millibarns. (13...
