Atlas Silicon Detector Performances

This talk is a rewiew of the Atlas silicon-based detectors: their features and their performances, for an audience of detector developers and manufacturers. The strip and pixel detectors are described, including the sensor layout and the readout scheme. The problem of the vecsls failure is also shown, together with its possible solution. Some preliminary result on efficiency and on space resolution is included.
