The decay of $^{8}$He
Delayed neutron and gamma emission following the beta decay of /sup 8 /He have been studied. The P/sub n/ value was determined to be (16+or-1)%, indicating that (84+or-1)% of the beta -decays feed the 981 keV first excited state in /sup 8/Li.
