Linearization of Z$_{2}$ lattice gauge theory in four dimensions
Order-disorder loops of four dimensional Z/sub 2/ gauge theory are shown to obey linear equations of motion. The authors argue that these equations are solved in terms of a particular ensemble of random surfaces.
