Sumario: | This note describes the search for Randall-Sundrum gravitons decaying to pairs of photons in the CMS experiment, using \datalumi~of integrated luminosity of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7\tev$.
We find the diphoton invariant mass spectrum to agree with standard model expectations, and find no evidence for a resonance. We derive limits on the cross-section for the production of Randall-Sundrum gravitons, and hence on the parameters of the warped extra dimension model. For values of the coupling parameter ranging from 0.01 to 0.1, we exclude graviton masses below 371 to 945\gevcc~ at the 95\% C.L. |
