Sumario:The CMS forward pixel detector is expected to integrate a maximum dose of about 7Mrad per year on the inner edge of the first disk at the full LHC design luminosity. Some results on the radiation tolerance of the CMS forward pixel detector were obtained from a beamtest at Fermilab of a pixel-detector module, which was previously irradiated up to a maximum dose of 45Mrad of protons at 200 MeV. These show that CMS forward pixel detector can tolerate this radiation dose without any major deterioration of its performance.
