Electron commissioning results at $\sqrt{s}$=7 TeV
Results on the commissioning of the CMS electron reconstruction in $\rm pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV recorded by the CMS detector in 2010 are presented. An integrated luminosity of up to 36 pb$^{-1}$ is used. Data-driven electron trigger efficiency turn-on curves are presented. The perf...

Sumario: | Results on the commissioning of the CMS electron reconstruction in $\rm pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV recorded by the CMS detector in 2010 are presented. An integrated luminosity of up to 36 pb$^{-1}$ is used. Data-driven electron trigger efficiency turn-on curves are presented. The performance of the electron track seeding, charge mis-identification and momentum determination and energy resolution have been studied and show a remarkable agreement with the Monte-Carlo expectations. |
