Anisotropic Flow Measurements in $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV PbPb Collisions From the CMS Experiment

We report on the CMS measurements of charged hadron anisotropic azimuthal distributions from PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV and their decomposition into a Fourier series up to the 6th coefficient. The results are presented as a function of transverse momentum ($p_T$), centrality and...

description We report on the CMS measurements of charged hadron anisotropic azimuthal distributions from PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV and their decomposition into a Fourier series up to the 6th coefficient. The results are presented as a function of transverse momentum ($p_T$), centrality and pseudorapidity ($\eta$) and cover a broad kinematic range. The scaling with the respective participant eccentricity is studied. The sensitivity of different harmonic coefficients to the dynamical models that describe the medium produced in the collisions is discussed.
