Sumario: | We report on a search for the Standard Model Higgs boson in the diphoton decay channel with the ATLAS detector at a proton-proton center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, with an integrated luminosity of 38 pb−1. The individual contributions from diphoton, photon-jet, dijet and Drell-Yan events are determined with data-driven methods. The observed exclusions range from 8 times the Standard Model prediction at 127 GeV, to 38 times at 116 GeV. The study is complemented with 94 pb−1 of data collected in 2011. No excess is observed. |
