Measurement of the top quark pair production cross section in dilepton final states with ATLAS

We present a measurement of the production cross section of top quark pairs in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. Using the 2011 ATLAS dataset, candidate events are selected in the dilepton topology with large missing transverse energy and at least two jets. In this analysis backgrounds from Z->ll and miss-identified leptons are estimated from data,while smaller backgrounds come from Monte Carlo evaluation. The result includes detailed studies of the systematic uncertainties in the sub-channels.
