Sumario:The standard model (SM) is very successful in describing the elementary particles and their interactions, but does not explain the symmetry between quarks and leptons. Leptoquarks (LQ) are bosons which carry the color charge and couple to both quarks and leptons. Pair-production LQ occurs mostly via QCD processes with a negligible dependence with unknown coupling constants. A search for pair-produced LQ in events with two charged leptons and jets, and events with one charged lepton, a neutrino and jets has been performed using 35 pb-1 of data collected with the ATLAS detector during the 2010 LHC run.
